UNDERSTANDING WORKCOVER QUEENSLAND
WorkCover Queensland is the state’s workers’ compensation scheme, providing insurance coverage for employees who are injured or become ill as a result of their work. If a WorkCover claim is accepted, it may cover reasonable medical and rehabilitation expenses, including allied health services such as podiatry.
The goal of WorkCover is to ensure injured workers receive appropriate treatment, support their recovery, and help them safely return to work as soon as possible.

Our goal is to help you recover safely, restore mobility and return to work as soon as possible, while ensuring your foot and lower limb health is properly managed.
If your WorkCover claim has been approved, podiatry treatment may be covered as part of your rehabilitation plan.

How Podiatry Supports Workplace Injury Recovery
Workplace injuries affecting the foot, ankle and lower limb can significantly impact mobility and daily activities. Podiatry plays an important role in reducing pain, restoring movement and supporting safe return-to-work outcomes. Our WorkCover podiatry services focus on identifying the cause of injury, providing targeted treatment and helping injured workers regain confidence in their movement.

Comprehensive Assessment
Your first appointment includes a detailed assessment of your foot, ankle and/or lower limb to understand how your workplace injury is affecting movement and function. This helps us identify and begin appropriate treatment.

Personalised Treatment Plan
Based on your assessment, we develop a tailored treatment plan to support recovery and improve mobility. This may include podiatry treatment, rehabilitation strategies, footwear advice or custom orthotics where appropriate.

Supporting Your Recovery
Our goal is to help injured workers reduce pain, restore movement and return to normal activities safely. We provide evidence-based podiatry care along with clear communication to support your WorkCover treatment plan.
